Heaven Come is a festival for Young Adults in all stages of life, whether you are a uni student, young professional, married, or single. Heaven Come was born out of the Set Free space in 2019 and has taken on it’s own life. Rooted in authentic Catholic tradition, it brings together Sacramental life, empowerment in the Holy Spirit, prayer, powerful teaching and fosters genuine community. Our team believes that the Holy Spirit desires to in new and unique ways every Festival and we are committed to discerning and following that movement. It is our sincere hope that Heaven Come is place for Young Adults to be refreshed, to dream, and to go forth convicted of God’s call for their life.

THE HEAVEN COME EXPERIENCE

  • Manaakitanga

At Heaven Come, hospitality is more than logistics, it’s a posture of the heart. Manaakitanga shapes how we receive one another, so from the the time you sign up we desire to create a space where you feel like part of the whanau.

  • Tuuturu

Heaven Come is authentically Catholic. Everything we do flows from the heart of the Church, firmly rooted in Scripture and Tradition. Throughout the festival Mass is woven into the rhythm of our days and you will have the opportunity to experience a variety of prayer traditions, Eucharistic Adoration and Reconciliation.

  • Kairangi

Excellence honours God. From thoughtful branding and well-designed spaces to world-class speakers and gifted local presenters, we aim for quality in every detail. Our production exists not to distract, but to create space for encounter.

  • Te Tiriti o te Waitangi

We are committed to honouring Te Tiriti o Te Waitangi and the whenua to which we all belong. For us creating a culture that honors Te Ao Maori and gives Maori a seat at the table, paves the way for all of us to deeply live our identity as God created us.

  • Waiata

At Heaven Come, music is intentionally paired back and deeply prayerful. It’s not about performance, but about creating space and intimate conversation with the Lord. Through a mix of traditional and contemporary songs, our worship leaders help set an atmosphere where we can slow down, listen, and respond, allowing the Holy Spirit to move gently but powerfully. This is worship that invites heaven into the ordinary and draws us deeper into the loving gaze of the Father.

  • Motuhake

Every year is a unique unrepeatable moment in time for the young Church in Aotearoa. While there are foundational elements that ground us in our Catholic identity as a festival that will not change, we also know that God is infinitely creative and just because something was a profound movement of God one year, doesn’t mean that He desires to move in the same way the following year. Our team is committed to discerning, as a collective, how we sense God wants to move in the year ahead. What we build upon the foundation simply ensures that we are positioned in the best way to receive and respond to the movement of the Holy Spirit.

2026 Theme

“Contemplation is
nothing else than
a secret, peaceful,
and loving inflow of God,
which, if not hampered,
enkindles the soul
in the spirit of love.”

  • One of our favorite things about St Peter’s is the dormitories. All dorms are fully kitted out with private or semi-private rooms.

    Female Dorms
All female dorms have private enclosed rooms complete with a single bed and desk.

    Male Dorms
Most of the male dorms also have completely private rooms like the girls dorms, however there is one male dorm that has semi-private rooms with cubicle-style walls.

    Couples Accommodation
There are no double rooms, however you will be in the an allocated couples dorm, with private rooms next to one another. It is possible that members of the planning team may also be in the same dormitory. Toilet/shower arrangements in the dorm are also accounted for.

  • Heaven Come has a very relaxed schedule because in our experience, there is a huge need for Young Adults to rest and be able to receive everything that the Lord has planned. Our mornings begin a bit later, and we have a simple brekkie for you available in your dorms or most people choose to go into town and get brekkie/coffees at one of the many cafes.
Other meals are catered and on Saturday Nights we book out a place in town for all of us to go have a nicer dinner before our big session.
